However, the gift card provider, Emerchants Ltd., charges a non-refundable $2.50 monthly maintenance fee after the 15th month of the original date of purchase. For example: If you purchase a $10 gift card on January 1st, 2023 and chose not to use it, or failed to call customer service for an extention prior to the expiry date, Emerchants Ltd. will charge you a $2.50 fee on May 1st, 2024 and every month thereafter until the funds have been depleted. You may call the support number on the back of the card to have the 15-month period extended for an additional 3 months.The Shops at Pickering City Centre is not responsible for lost or stolen cards or a reduced card balance as a result of inactivity and/or failure to renew before the 15th month maintenance fee deadline.This card is issued by Peoples Trust Company.
